Mongiovi Orthodontics staff, friends, and families participate in several events throughout the year to help support local charities.
On October 24, 2010 our Staff and friends participated in a walk to support the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. We raised over $900 from our "Treats for Troops" campaign to donate to the JDRF. Also in the past, Mongiovi Orthodontics has raised money for Alex's Lemonade to help find a cure for pediatric cancer.
Our second annual "Treats for Troops" event took place on November 2, 2010. This year we collected over 450 pounds of candy from our patients and friends in the community! Mongiovi Orthodontics donated $2.00 for every pound of candy to the Juvenile Diabetes Reasearch Foundation to help find a cure. All of the candy collected was then sent to our troops serving overseas via the USO in Philadelphia. Thanks to all who participated. A great event for a great cause! |
